In Charlotte I got to know some people in the business and I became interested in radio. I did some research and decided on CSB, where I studied broadcasting, production and editing. I worked mostly in promotions, and dabbled a little in board operating. After a brief hiatus (to make money) and a change in location, I made my way to Cumulus in Youngstown. There I walked in off the street and started as an intern. I found myself hanging around the WBBW studios. After a while a position became available and I quickly jumped on it. Here at WBBW I work the boards for A Tip Of The Cap or The Front Row (whichever one it is that week) with John Caparanis, I co-host The Steelhound’s Happy Hour with Tim Sampsell, and I operate the boards for the Steelhounds along with Tony Maluso and Fred Kopp. I also help update the WBBW website and edit daily logs. Overall it’s great here at WBBW. We are all making a ton of money and we get to do something we love
