Three-time Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby is not available for trade, Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis informed ESPN via email.
“We’re Not Trading Maxx Crosby,” Davis wrote. “Before Or After The Trade Deadline!!!”
Davis’ email comes on the heels of the Raiders — now 2-5 and in last place in the AFC West — trading three-time All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams to the New York Jets on Oct. 15 for a conditional third-round draft pick.
The NFL trade deadline is Nov. 5.
For his part, Crosby addressed the trade rumors on his podcast this week.
“I’m sitting here innocently and just doing what I do, and I feel like I got to like address it with my teammates,” he said on “The Rush With Maxx Crosby” podcast. “I’m like, ‘I’m not trying to leave.’
“I don’t have 100 percent control and all that, but I want to be here. I want to be silver and black. I’ll say it loud and (expletive) clear: I want to be a Raider. I’ve said that over and over and over again.”
Crosby, 27, has recorded 6.5 sacks to go with 23 tackles in six games (all starts) this season.
He has totaled 58.5 sacks and 344 tackles in 89 games (83 starts) since being selected by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Eastern Michigan.
